The risks associated with sharps includes puncture wounds and passing on of bloodborne pathogens within body fluids, such as Hepatitis and HIV.
The removal of contaminated sharps is a potentially dangerous undertaking and should not be carried out by untrained individuals. Once the sharps have been removed, the area is sanitised to ensure any contamination is removed.
We will carry out site surveys and risk assessments.
All sharps removal, incineration and disinfection of the sites are carried out in full accordance with COSHH & Health & Safety procedures.
We offer our services to local authorities, housing associations, drug rehabilitation centres, letting agents, landlords, colleges, universities, the police and prison services, offices and workplaces.
